Last weekend, I went on a mountain bike ride with a friend at Peter’s Canyon.
We started slowly on a gradual slope. Then a friend suggested that we take a steeper slope. So we carried our bikes to a steeper slope and started riding.
We huffed and puffed and pushed ourselves to the limit. When we reached the top, we felt dizzy and were out of breath.
That’s when we talked about the intentional, deep breathing when the going gets tough.
Do you feel like you are up against a steep slope of your life?
Do you take time to be in the presence of God intentionally and deeply?
Do you take challenges that will push you to the limit?
I can’t wait until we take it to the slope again because I want to take intentional, deep breaths and enjoy the scenery at the top.
