Google and Your Desires
What does your search history on Google reveal about your desires?  What are you looking for on Google? Whether you are searching for the latest cat videos, directions, restaurants, services, or any other information your heart fancies or mind finds curious, Google makes it very easy for you to feel empowered and in control.  Your search not only shows what you desire, but also shows what kind of person you are becoming.

You Are What You Desire
Too often people approach the Bible like Google searching for answers. You can listen to the message, “The Hero of the Story,” where I explain what the Bible is not and what the Bible is.  Unfortunately, your ability to find answers, information, and solutions leads you to nowhere.

Who Are You to Jesus?
John Calvin posited the notion hundreds of years ago that your sense of identity is connected to your sense of God and vice versa. I would submit that this line of thinking is the beginning of common sense and “Christ sense.” I believe the lack of acknowledging others is the root of human unhappiness and undoing of identity because human beings are essentially relational. Luke 19:10 says, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” I think it’s great know that someone is looking for you not to arrest or take away your freedom, but to give you meaning and purpose of your life. Jesus searches. Therefore, I am.
